PARCEL RECOVERY LAB

Screen eligible FedEx and UPS shipments for refund opportunities without treating every late package as money owed.

Carrier guarantees are service-, date- and exception-specific. Recovery OS is building a versioned Parcel Policy Engine so a shipment is tested against the policy actually applicable on its ship date before a refund candidate is created.

Carrier policy gate
Carrier + service + ship date must map to an active guarantee rule.
Commitment test
Compare documented delivery commitment with actual delivery after applicable adjustments.
Exception gate
Weather, regulatory, address and other exclusions remain review inputs instead of automatic refunds.

Current 2026 policy matters

FedEx currently lists selected U.S. domestic and U.S. import/export services under its Money-Back Guarantee; other services remain suspended. UPS currently lists selected Air and International services under its Service Guarantee and says other services remain suspended. Both carriers state their guarantees are subject to conditions and change.

Lab pricing to validate

Initial model: no upfront fee for a defined parcel sample, then 30% of verified carrier credits/refunds if the pilot proceeds. This is a pricing experiment, not a guarantee of eligibility or recovery.

The primary Recovery OS commercial wedge remains Freight/Ocean D&D while Parcel is validated. No claim is submitted automatically.
